GM kids!

Good Morning My children – As the sun rose today over your ‘neck of the woods’ I could not help but smile with great joy, overwhelmed with my love for you, my child. As you start your day, I hope that we will have time to chat. I look forward to every chance we get to commune with one another. YOU make my heart smile. YOU are the apple of my eye. I was talking to my dad this morning and the sparkle in His eye could not be mistaken even as He shines in all His glory – and you know what we were talking about? YOU! We are so proud of you and SO EXCITED for the plans on your horizon!  If you only knew what we have in store for your life! Of course I can’t give everything away, because then we wouldn’t talk as often, you wouldn’t trust Me and My timing but instead try to make it happen on your own.

So, remember this today when you are challenged or feeling like giving up and walking away; when you feel like choosing the wider/easier path instead of the narrow that requires a little more sacrifice and doesn’t necessarily make you the most popular ‘suit’ around the water cooler….I LOVE YOU. I have your name inscribed in the palm of my hand and every time I reach out to touch someone, I am reminded of YOU. I can’t wait to walk and talk with you as we experience eternity, together. I cherish every moment we spend together, talking about what’s going on in your life. I love love love when we just sit a while – together and relish each other’s company.

I created you. I remember the day, crystal clear when I set that lump of clay on my wheel and began molding and spinning and delight and joy filled my entire being as I put the finishing touches on: I made your nose a little smaller, I created that middle toe to be slightly longer than the big toe (yeah I did that on purpose you know), I colored your eyes and decided to give you straight hair instead of curly or for some of you, no hair at all. I decided that your skin would be fair and not tan easily or because of my plans for you I created your skin dark and lovely as the bark of a cypress tree. Every single detail of your entire body both those you admire and those you wish to change – I created each part with a purpose in mind – NOTHING was done by accident. I don’t make mistakes you know…

Your ability to crunch numbers with the best of them yet reading and spelling are not one of your best areas of expertise – that was all me my love. Everything about you was carefully planned and created for a reason and nothing was a mistake or overlooked. You, my dear  one, are created in My image. You are absolutely beautiful and stunning.

Next time you think you are inadequate. When the thought crosses your mind that your purpose is done and you have achieved your destiny as you grow in number of years. And above all, next time you start comparing your talents to that one that can ‘do it better’, the one that can play that instrument better than you, that coworker that seems to always get kudos while you go unnoticed, the mom that is the ‘favorite’ and seems to do everything right…those are your thoughts and nothing more that is running away from you.

No one else can fulfill the joy that I am filled with when My face shines upon you. No one else can fulfill that destiny that I created YOU to fulfill. They are talented yes, but you were chosen and I have showered you with my anointing. That person cannot worship me like you can. They cannot sing that song that I have placed deep within you alone. They cannot touch my heart with the love that only you can give. You are unique and one of a kind, don’t let someone else steal your opportunity to worship me in a way that only you can – or the rocks WILL.
